I was at work tonight and logged into Fitbit.com to see that my tracker had updated 20 minutes ago. Here at work I do not have a USB Fitbit dongle, I do not have the Fitbit app, I do not have Wi-Fi connectivity, I do not have my Fitbit Blaze charging dock, and I do not have a smart phone.
My girlfriend had previously used the Blaze with her smartphone but has since removed the device from her Fitbit account and phone. Also she is over 2 miles away from me while I am in the office.
Somehow, even with all of this, the tracker was able to update and send data to the Fitbit servers. Can someone help me understand how this can be possible?

Some one in your company has a Fitbit, and set their computer up to sync theirs. They have a Fitbit dongle plugged in and running the Fitbit Connect software. This software does not look at an account. It simply sends a signal out asking if there are any fitbit trackers nearby, then will attempt to sync all of them.
