Trouble charging my Blaze

Brand new gift and I am not able to use because my computers....plural...and wall charger will not charge the fitbit.  Customer service says they will send new charger cradle.  As I have scrolled throught this site, I have seen numerous similar posts.  How many faulty chargers did they send out?

Same here, but I deleted the app on my phone, then installed it again and it worked straight away

The problem is not the phone.  The charging cradle will not connect to my Windows 10 laptop.

When you say "will not connect", do you mean physically or that it doesn't recognise the Blaze?

 

The charging cradle is just meant to charge the Blaze, not sync with the computer if I recall correctly.

Hey @ctm4003 when setting up, did the app tell you that the battery is low? 

That is the only way you will know if it is charging.

Yes....charger will not connect to computer in order to charge Fitbit.

I am having the same problem.  Received the Blaze as a Christmas present.  Started setting it up, and received a message that the battery was out of power.  I have been unable to charge it on my Windows 10 computer.  when I plug it in, the logo comes up briefly, so this suggests that "something" is happening.  The charge level icon does not appear.  I have tried multiple ports on my laptop.

 

It appears that this is a common problem.  Does Fitbit have bad quality control?  I am on endless hold waiting for a support person.

I plugged mine in the wall and left if there overnight.  It never showed it was charging.  I added the app to my phone and the fitbit showed up as being fully charged.  It seems to be working now.  I cant tell you what happened and how it started working....
