Trying to sync fitbit with a new phone.

So I am trying to set up a used fitbit with a new device. I do the set up like I'm setting up a "brand new device". And it goes to the enter code to phone. I do it and then the fitbit goes to clock while my phone stays on connecting and doesn't change... I have no clue what to do and am insanely stressed.

Great to see you around @KaylaH2k17. If you have already paired the Blaze, you don't need to set it up again. You just need to download the Fitbit app to your new phone, log in to your account and the tracker will sync automatically. Just make sure that you have internet connection and that your Bluetooth is on.

Now, if you are having issues specifically with syncing, take a look at the Having trouble syncing? post and follow the instructions provided there.

Let me know the outcome. Woman Happy

@KaylaH2k17 so your not switching phones as your title suggests, but setting up a traveler you where go in

Let's start by asking what type of I one are you having a problem with? Is it on the compatible list?

If you kill the app and restart does the Blaze show as connected?

@AlejandraFitbitYeah that's also part of the issue. It was unpaired from the device so I'm having to set it up completely new.. (sorry meant to put that in the message.)

Thanks for the information @KaylaH2k17 and @Rich_Laue thanks for stopping by.

I would like to know if you keep having issues setting up your tracker? If you do, I recommend restarting it and verify you are doing the following from your Fitbit app:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

Hope to hear from you soon. Woman Happy
