Unable to add Blaze as new device

Hi,

I bought the Blaze a week ago and added it to my phone with no issues. 

On Sunday it stopped syncing, I tried multiple times over a few days with  no luck. I thought I'd delete the device and start again but now my phone isn't picking up the blaze. I get to the part in setup where it asks you to hold the left button while your phone searches. Each time it comes up as unable to find device. I have deleted the app and reinstalled twice,  I have turned Bluetooth on and off multiple times. 

It won't work. 

I have a S8 phone.

A warm welcome to the Community @LaurenG92, thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself.

 

I would like to know if you keep having issues setting up your Blaze or syncing it? If you do, please confirm you are doing the following from your Fitbit app to set it up:

 

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon.).
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

 

Also, if the issue is directly with syncing, I recommend taking a look at the Having trouble syncing? post and follow the instructions provided there.
