I am not fully understanding the calorie goal. I can not remember putting in a daily calorie intake, but it seems to work by calories in vs calories out? However, at the start of the day after sleep, it tells me I have x amount of calories left, which leads me to think there is a starting value. I can't find this out, it changes through the day, and just don't understand how it works out the base calorie value. Help anyone ?

This post from some time back was my explanation. I think the dashboard has changed some but I believe the calorie explanation is still OK.

@GatorChuck On the web dashboard, hover over the calorie tile and you should see a gear icon show up at the bottom of the tile. Click on this and you can change your calorie deficit goal.
