Today at 12:30pm CT, I tried to upgrade my Blaze. My Blaze screen is now a blinking square/diamond with a progress bar (empty) under it. It just blinks. I cannot restart it. I hold the 2 buttons down for over 1 minute. Nothing restarts. Nothing can be done. I was online with fitbit customer support for 30 minutes. They cannot fix it. Nothing works. I sure hope that this can be fixed. Any ideas?
Be very careful upgrading your Blaze.
Not a happy customer right now.

Hello and welcome to the forums @kirks5
Customer support is where we go when solutions on the forums aren't getting our devices to work properly.
What did support suggest you do?

To try and restart. Doesn't work...tried that as I did an exhaustive search. No way to power off or restart other than the 2 buttons.
Next, they had me try to put the app on Windows 10 and hook up the dongle. That doesn't work because the device shows up and disappears about every second. Beeps going off and on.
Finally, they said they would send an email which they did with this link (which basically repeated what I had tried: http://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2047/?q=I+can%26%2339%3Bt+update+my+tracker&l=en_...
I can probably figure out this blasted thing IF there is a way to get it to restart or get out of this "hang".

OK....I kept it plugged into the dongle for about 2 hours...it finally quit blinking so I was able to sort of do a restart. Now, it just restarts with a sprinkled rectangle (taking up entire screen) with white and multiple other colors. Is still not recognized as a device on my Windows 10 machine as attached with the dongle.
