Upgrading from flex to Blaze

Hello
So when I turn on the blaze and go to set it up on my droid turbo 2 will the app allow me to add the blaze and remove my flex and keep all my previous data stored in the app.
Do I need to let the battery die on the flex before open and turn on the blaze? Or can the App disconnect the flex and connect the blaze?

All your past days is on the Fitbit website. Nothing is ever stored on the tracker or app.

You can set up your Blaze as a replacement tracker as Wendy says. Or you can add it as a second tracker and keeping the Flex connected,  thos is your choice.
