GPS keeps connecting to phone

I want to use the run cues so I can know when to run and when to walk. I keep getting the use phone GPS messages on my Blaze. There is an "off" under the message. I do not get the arrow to start walk or run. I have an Android phone. Yes, the Fitbit app is running in the background. Yes, my phone is paired to the Fitbit and the location and Bluetooth is on. I can live without the GPS as I am mostly on a treadmill. How can stop the Blaze from trying to look for GPS? This started happening about a month ago.

A warm welcome to the Community @mommablaze.

There are some exercises on the Blaze that you can use with GPS, run is one of them. But, if you don't want your Blaze to connect to your phone's Bluetooth, you just need to press the lower right button of your tracker and start your exercise.

I hope this helps, let me know the outcome. Woman Happy

I do not get another button to press. The screen does not advance or scroll. After about 10 minutes  it will return to the time-of-day.
