Using the Blaze and a Zip on Galaxy S6, dual device syncing

I got my Blaze going this past Saturday, it replaced my Charge. So far so good, a few little issues here and there, but it works and is doing its job.

I have been wanting a clip style accessory for the Blaze, but its not availble or created yet. So I went out and picked up a Zip.

I have both devices added to my Fitbit mobile app and they seem to kind of work. I say kind of, because I have been testing out how well it will switch back and forth between the 2 devices. It supposed to be seamless and basically hands free as per Fitbit. But for me, it seems that if I want to switch to one or the other I have to restart my phone and re-sync the device I am using... essentially i put on the device that isn't sync'd and then I walk far enough away so that the other device isn't able to connect via bluetooth anymore.. then my total steps will show up on the new device after restarting my phone and launching the app.

Is there a simpler way of doing this? can i just swap devices and expect the app to just figure it out?

@Slayer33 I use both the Blaze and a Charge.  I have both paired on my account.  I just be sure to sync the current device before switching to the other, and do the same when I switch back.

I have not encountered any issues with doing this.

Thanks for the reply, when you say sync the current device are you manually syncing them? I have mine set to "All-Day Sync" and "Always Connected"... should these be turned off when you have 2 devices?

When I go to my Devices screen on my mobile app it shows that both devices are trying to sync..

@Slayer33  I have all day sync turned off on both devices.  When I launch the app, it will sync at that time at if both are in proximity, it will do both devices.

Mine is set to always connect and sync on my devices and I have also not had issues.  I do go into the app right before I switch devices and sync them.  I make sure they two devices match before I start using the new one.

Anyone have experience using both Blaze and Zip on Galaxy S7 (Edge or regular, doesn't matter)? I am thinking of getting a Zip for those times when I want to wear an actual watch instead of my Blaze. The theory is that Zip will continue counting my steps while I'm out without the Blaze and somehow the two devices will coordinate seamlessly within the app. Is this a realistic expectation?

For anyone using multiple Fitbits on one account - do you experience any data loss when switching from one device to another?

@AuroraKat  I have 3 Fitbit's on my account and have never experienced any loss of data.  I always make sure to sync all before switching, and making sure they all read the same data before I leave.

I have 5 Fit it's on my accoint, have done numerous tests. Many switches without a sync, I find that a few steps when both tracker a recorded steps for the same minute, may sometimes be lost.
