After my charge HR died recently, ive started looking towards the blaze . As ive only wore my fitbit for the last 6 months and not looked at any of my proper watches I thought this could be a great substitute. Anyway they are on eBay as own products at a really good reduced rate and wondered if anyone had experience of these ?

Thank you.

I decided against and ordered new direct.

Too many unknowns and like you say warranty is key.

Hi @Leroygee,

I've seen those listings, but I would not recommend purchasing them. If the tracker develops issues (or had them already), you might be disappointed if the Fitbit warranty doesn't apply because they are unauthorized sellers. I see this sort of thing all the time with electronics. Some sell factory rejects or even outright counterfeits. Is it worth the risk for the savings?

I would purchase from fitbit.com, just so I know it's a new unit and fully covered under warranty. If you do decide to buy somewhere else, I would recommend calling or emailing Fitbit to determine if that person is really an authorized seller and if the tracker is covered under warranty.
