I have already turned off all day sync, but everytime you open the app, it still syncs. I want to be able to log food without it syncing. Any suggestions?

I think your only option is to turn off Bluetooth before opening the app. The sync is set up thay way deliberately at the minute.

Yes, there is! You can disable the automatic sync setting on your phone in the FitBit settings on the app. Make it manual only. I think that stops auto sync until you swipe down to sync after you open the app.

Yep, mine actually does the same, I see. But even if it is syncing, I tap the food log tile from my dashborad and it goes straight there for me to log food, it does not delay the process...

Fitbit is set up to sync when the app is opened up. I think they should do what the Linux App does and check the time of last sync.
It also needs a cancell button for sync, drives me crazy.
