Wearing fitbit under long sleeves

My Blaze is only reporting 70-75% of my steps when I wear a long sleeve shirt over top. I've noticed this recently when the weather has turned colder here. I have a couple of routes and know how many steps I take, within a range. The heavier the sleeve, the worse the calculation. I've made sure that QuickView is off and the Blaze isn't pausing. I also clean the contacts regularly according to instructions. In other words, not user error. I have restarted it a couple times, to no avail. This is very irksome.

Mine doesn't do that. I don't have that issue.

I have the same problem and have reported directly to FitBit and they don't want to fix the problem that damp/sweaty long sleeve shirts will pause and stop workouts, even if quickview is off.  A simple fix that FitBit knows about and will not fix.
