Hi all, when I woke up this morning I realized my Blaze had died overnight. When I turned it on/plugged it in, it (temporarily) said the time was about 9:30pm, previous experience tells me this is when it died last night.
Now it’s more charged up, up to date on the time, but it says I’ve walked ~3000 steps, 1.29 miles, and burned 1520 calories...but it’s 5am and I haven’t even gotten out of bed yet! Those numbers are similar, but different, to my daily activity yesterday, so I don’t know if maybe it accidentally carried over when it died?
I reset my Blaze and force quit the app, but nothing changed. Any ideas on what happened or how I can fix it?
Thanks!

Hi, @KaitlynW, I think you have diagnosed the problem yourself -- it looks like it did not detect the midnight reset signal (this can happen occasionally when the Blaze is turned off/ battery dead overnight).
Hopefully all will be well tomorrow (after the next midnight). Unfortunately, once this happens there is really no fix except wait for the next day.
Let us know how it goes. Welcome to the forums!

Thank you so much! What an odd issue. Hopefully it’ll resolve itself tomorrow. I’m assuming if it does, it will still keep track of my activity today? For example, if I walk 5000 steps today, with this issue it will say I walked 8000. But if it fixes itself tomorrow, it will end up saying I walked 5000 today? Hope that made sense.
Thanks again!

Hi, @KaitlynW, unfortunately not. You are stuck with the extra steps for today -- the reset tonight won't fix the false data for today. But hopefully everything moving forward should be okay.

Hopefully it won't happen again... and it should track everything fine today -- just with the extra steps.
Theoretically it should be fine to have your Blaze off over night, as when you sync it should catch up, and mostly it does. However, whenever anyone with a Blaze mentions their steps did not reset, when I ask it usually turns out that it was off at midnight (unless they were travelling and changing timezones -- that's a different issue!). It will work at least 9 times out of 10 to have it off, but sometimes it just doesn't... I don't know why... But if it is an issue that is important to you, then I would suggest making sure it is on and charged each midnight.
As I am sure you know, if you sleep with it you can get very interesting stats, so that is a good reason to keep it on and charged...
Amd by the way, frequent short charges, such as when you take it off to shower is ideal. It is the best way of making sure you never run out of battery, and of maximising your battery's life, so don't hesitate to charge it this way if that is convenient for you.
