What does the "Scan Barcode" do on the Blaze app?

I noticed the + sign at the bottom of my app awhile back but today was the first time I've ever clicked on it to see what is available to add. What does the "scan barcode" do?

i guess that you can add food by scaning its barcode

As our friend mentioned, the Scan Barcode works to scan and log your food. To scan your food you just need to do the following from your phone:

1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the + icon.
2. If you're using Android Marshmallow, make sure you grant the Fitbit app access to the requested features of your mobile device. 
3. Tap Scan Barcode.
4. Ensure that your item's entire barcode is within the scanning area. If your item is in our database you'll see a summary.
5. Change any quantities, if necessary, and don't forget to save.
