Hi, @DavidBoulder, please see the answer from @SteveH on this thread which gives reasons why this may have happened.

Same here, this is driving me nuts. I just recently bought the Blaze FitBit and after a few weeks the REM, Deep Sleep, Light Sleep stopped working?
I've read the official statement which states sleep times under 3 hrs won't capture REM... Not true, I have records of REM sleep with 2Hrs 27Mins. This feature has completely been broken either with recent update or something other than that?

For me, I had this issue on Tue/Wed and Wed/Thur, but on Thur/Friday it was back to normal. We'll see if it stays that way.I didn't change at all how I was wearing the watch or where/how I sleep vs. what I normally do. Since happened to so many people at once, I'm assuming was sever side issue.

Welp, I have a solution. Uninstall app and then reinstall it (I did this thru iTunes Apps on my iPhone) then DO NOT apply the update patch. Back to REM displays. 🙂 Also turn off automatic updates.
Now if only in a perfect world I wouldn't have to be a paid beta tester (Paid in that I Paid $200 for a FitBit Blaze and have to find my own solutions i.e. Pro Bono)
