I am a 60+ female, 5'2", 97#. Yesterday, my HR said I took 14,866 steps for 6.12 miles and burned 1,697 calories. Today, my new BLAZE said I took 7,498 steps for 3.03 miles and burned 2,540 calories. I don't feel like number of steps and distance covered are all that important because I should compare current day activity with previous day activity. The disparity in calories burned IS disconcerting because the BLAZE says I burned up 50% more calories for half the steps/distance. If the BLAZE mathematic algorythm is that inaccurate in computing calories burned, why should I trust any of the other metrics it is reporting. I'm giving it two more days and will be wearing the HR in tandem with the BLAZE on my NON-DOMINENT arm.

Hi there @Fergie2310. Welcome to the Fitbit Community!
I'm sorry that the information that you're getting from your two trackers seem not to be accurate. For that, I would recommend restarting both devices. Your HR by pressing the button for 10-15 seconds while plugged to the charger and your Blaze by pressing the left and lower right buttons and then try them out to see if this makes any difference.
Also, just to make sure. Remember that you can have more than one tracker on your same account but it's better if you don't use both at the same time.
If your account has multiple trackers and you forget to take one off before putting on another, rest assured we’ll reconcile the overlapping data to present the most accurate information possible on your dashboard. However, the more overlapping data that exists on your account, the more likely it is that your dashboard's accuracy will suffer. For best results, do not wear more than one tracker at a time and sync each tracker before taking it off and putting on another.
Hope this helps and if you need more help, let me know!
