What the....?! My Blaze is now useless after update!

I would have my phone on silent but then after an update the notifications stopped working a couple weeks ago. Just did the update in Google Play to fix it, then I restarted my phone and blaze like I always do after a fitbit update... My blaze buzzed/vibrated like it always does when I turn it on but this time the screen isn't turning on and the green light on the bottom of the device is no longer there. The battery wasn't dead but I charged it anyways and now 2 hours later it still isn't working! I think the update just killed my fitbit!!! I'm not wasting 300 dollars on another one. It seems like fitbit is full of insane glitches. I was really looking forward to looking at my progress throughout the summer and now it doesn't even work!

At first I was so shocked and angry, now I just want to go to bed and cry because these things aren't cheap! haha It was working fine and then it just stopped working after I shut it off to restart it after updates, which is something I've been doing for 2 years now and I've never had a problem with getting it to turn back on before.

I have no idea what's going on with my blaze. It must've decided to go in a coma, because I let my fitbit sit at the desk all day and I would check it throughout the day and the screen still wouldn't come on until I just checked it and it started working again and the green lights are working too now. I think I need to start looking for a backup device in case I keep having issues with fitbit!
