WhatsApp message showing up as new untill opening the app on the phone

I am happy whit my blaze and like it to get the whatsapp message on it. only thing I don't like is that if the phone is off and a whatsapp is coming in, the same message is repeting coming in on the blaze untill I open the App on the phone.
But sometimes I want to response later, when I am in a meeting. But to stop the message repeating I am forced to open the App.
Is there a solution for this now or in the future.

I don't know a lot about what's app, but yes reading sausage in the wrist does not mark it as read on the phone.. This would be the same as reading the popup message on the lock screen of the phone.
As for the multiple occurrences, are they also popping up on the phone?
Another big question android or ios?

I have an Android system.
reading the message on the phone goes very well.
If I read it on the watch and don't open the WhatsApp app on the Phone the message is repeating, untill I open the App. Even if I delete the message on the watch it comes back.
As it is nice to see who is Sending the message on the watch, I don't want or can't answer always directly, I think thats the meaning of it or Surpose.
But now I an forced to open the App to stop it of coming in. Plus the messenger will see that I have red the message, all do I could change that.
So probably or it is a setting I miss, or it need a software update.

@Jeanbiti welcome to the Fitbit Community! As @Rich_Laue mentioned reading or dismissing the message on your Blaze doesn't mark it as read on your phone. If the message is not open on the phone it will keep sending the signal like you have something pending this is why you receive the message several times. My suggestion is to take a moment and share your ideas at the Feature Request board. This forum is the ideal place for you to share your thoughts with the Fitbit Community and Fitbit product developers. @Rich_Laue it's great to see you around! 🙂
