When trying to select exercise it says it can't find phone?

When I want to select an exercises the blaze tells me it can't find the phone.  I am not sure what I am doing wrong.  I am afraid the fitbit is smarter than I am.  Please help:)

Im not site which exercise your looking at, or what phone,  but make sure the app is running in the background. On the phone location is turned on. On tje Blaze swipe down on the clock face turn notifacations on.

I found out that it didn't work because it was accually to close to my phone.
