When will Fitbit give us some real new features.

Beginning to believe it will never happen as all we see are bug fixes and the suggestion box is being ignored.

Looking like this is all there will be.

I agree with some of the others and there will be few if any features added so no need to stuff that suggestion box any longer.

No matter how diehard Fitbit fans may whistle in the graveyard, the Blaze will be compared not only to the Apple Watch, but also to the new Garmin smartwatch due out in April (and I'm sure others as well).  Garmin already has a whole ecosystem of Apps with more on the way.  So, I believe Fitbit will have to update Blaze to stay in the game.  If their answer is buy the next version, I will not be back and beleive many feel likewise.

Does not look like Fitbit and its users will be in a graveyard anytime soon.

"we estimate about 1.3 million Blaze devices sold-through in Q1".  Wonder if garmin has ever sold that many of its watches?

Agreed, and Rich comparing to aircraft that flies hundreds or thousands of miles across high and low pressure air masses is ludicrous.

My Garmin bike computer uses its GPS to get current elevation, to calibrate altimeter. Before that I had Wahoo RFLKT+ bike computer that in many ways was like Blaze - it had an altimeter but no GPS, so it used "connected GPS" to get current elevation from phone GPS - altimeter calibrated at start of ride, worked great.

I honestly wouldn't have any problem if there were no new features added to the blaze. I'd rather see current features be customizable by the user.

Job 1 is to complete work on existing features. Two examples: emoji in text messages; and fixing connected GPS distance issues.

Next up is things that would make owners happy, like new clock faces, more customization, etc.

I read up on the Blaze and bought it as is.

I'm not expecting - nor see the necessity of Fitbit adding - any new features.

Yes, yes, yes.  Do your homework first before buying, then complaing on here wondering why it had not internal GPS after you purchased.

If I were fitbit, I would offer new features for an extra price-- sort of like the DLC patches for games. A few bucks here and there for additional watch faces wouldn't bother me. Like previously stated, the watch made no other promises besides what we have gotten; now they can capitalize on the fervor around the product by simply rolling out small releases here and there.
