Received new Blaze today in the mail... no instructions whatsoever included.
Which I think was fine with the Surge, but it seemed weird for the Blaze to not have it since it's a next generation device and a lot of people are familiar with the Surge already.
For example, as I'm fumbling to set it up, my phone complains that the charge on the watch was too low so I think, "Okay I'll charge it." But it wasn't obvious to me that I needed to pop the watch face out of the band and put it inside of the charger thing it came with, just because of the fact that I'm so used to plugging a USB cable into the back of the Surge. Fortunately, I have half of a brain and figured that out myself but I think having instructions would have saved me the confusion.
I noticed it comes with a tiny card that tells you to visit /setup on the FitBit website but that doesn't given any hardware instructions, just links to download relevant software.

Hello there, @fartprincess! Welcome to the Blaze family. Thanks for the feedback about the instructions booklet (or the omission, rather). I've posted this elsewhere, but here's a list of resources that might should help you:
If there are any questions that these may not answer, please let me know! I'm always happy to look into it for you.

I get that it's linked there. I'm not complaining because I can't find the instructions *now*, just trying to give feedback to Fitbit that it seems odd to not include that when shipping a new product. Not everyone comes rushing to the online forum and a lot of people will never find that.

More and more companies are not including printed documentation with their products. For example, Apple products - no user guides at all.
All is placed online to refer to. I'm sure it is a huge cost saving feature.

It is like the character "fat Amy" on the movie Pitch Perfect. "I call myself Fat Amy so you twiggy-**ahem**e$ can't"
I would be Fartprincess is a hilarious person 🙂

The is a small help section on the Siege, but or certainly is not the full manual, but all Fitbit products have a downloading and an intractive online manual.
If ypu go to the bittom of this page, click on Help, ypu will go to the online Fitbit Help site. Click on the pretty picture that matches your Fitbit Tracker, on the next page you will find a link to your manual on PDF. Our you can use the online Manual found on this help site. .

404 error on the help page

The 404 error was only temporary, I had tried to add a link to the manual and have fixed that.

I, too, am frustrated that a manual wasn't included with the Blaze and that there is no straight-forward link to it on the fitbit site. I was seriously considering taking it back before I came upon the link provided in this conversation, I believe. Not terribly user friendly! ...especially considering that the limited set up instructions include "plug in dongle" (WHAT DONGLE?!) and leaves you hanging there. Hopefully, the manual will be a little more user friendly; if not, it IS going back.

@runForest sorry to here about your problems, for the manual you can find the link in the second post of this thread.
I also suggest scrolling to the bottom of any page, where you'll see a link to the Online Interactive Help Guide. From there you can type in a term, or click on the picture of your tracker.
Fitbit like many companies that sell items that require access to the internet provides all their manuals online. This does two things, makes them readable, ands already availible, they can't get lost.
If you have a cell phone, or a win10 computer the dongle won't be needed.
I'm sure you have more questions and would like you to start a new thread, and not post them here.

Hello everyone! If you are looking for the Blaze product manual click here. If you are trying to set up the tracker, instructions can be found here. If you are having issues with the set up process you can troubleshoot as instructed here.
Hope this helps! 🙂
