Why does my Fitbit Blaze register A max heart rate when I'm in the shower?

I take my Fitbit blaze off to take a shower because it is only water resistant but sometimes when I get out of the shower my heart beat registers as being at max. Today, specifically, it registered as 199 (I'm 32) before I put the blaze on and then a couple minutes later it was normal. It has happened 2 twice in total in the past 3 weeks. The blaze was in the bathroom the first time but ever since, I put it in another room;I thought maybe the moister was throwing it off. But today the same problem occurred. Is there something wrong with my device? What is causing this? And if it is just a normal glitch, how can I erase that false data?

I imagine it's simply the LEDs reflecting off something just enough to keep the sensor alive and tracking. These days I make sure the LEDs have actually gone out before I go and do something else.

You can't erase heart rate data as far as I know, sorry.
