Won't charge bc it needs2 update. can't update bc the battery's almost dead

Hello all! I was excited to receive my new Fitbit Blaze today; however, it won't charge without setting up, and it won't set up without an update...but it can't do ANY OF THESE because the battery is now almost dead!! WTH man lol. I hope someone can please advise. Thank you!

Actually @mizznurse it won't update because it needs charging
So let me help, put the Bj ax into its charger and plug it into a source of power.. You will not see any evidence that it is charging but it will be.
Let it charge for 60 minutes then try the update again.. If the app still says the battery is low, this is the only way you'll know that it is not charging, anyway if it doesn't work let us kniw.
Now since the app is asking to update the tracker that means it has already been attached to your account.

...that's my point! It won't update bc it says "battery too low" and it was
plugged in for well over an hour...it's useless until i can get over these
humps, and they're all contradicting each other. So, to answer your
question, no, nothing changed.

You have had it plugged in for a whle and the app still says low battery when the setup is restarted. 

Is there any way you can charge? Some computers and laptops will stop charging when they go to sleep. Maybe your phones charger. Also make sure the contacts align up.

It is possible that the charge cable is bad.

Idk...all i know is that the screen stays on setup. It won't do anything
else

OK that is what I was figuring. 

When you start up the app, I'm not sure what you see. Do you have the option to continue? If so try this, does the app still say the battery is low. 

I edit post to make things simpler.

Yup...battery is low. So it won't do a **ahem** thing. I even tried chatting
with support...it starts with me being 2nd or 3rd in line...it goes to 1,
(in seconds), ...then stays there..forever. i gave up after 45 minutes...
