Workout info in the app doesn't match the dashboard

I have a different but similar issue... I have a blaze that I wear daily during both weightlifting and cardio exercises... I will usually do a long run, then lift, then short run, then lift again.. I will switch between exercises based on the tracker's settings...

Since the new dashboard, I have noticed that the logged exercise in the app never correlates to the dashboard itself... for example, today I ran two sets of 35 and 10 minutes of intervals on the treadmill with the tracker recording "treadmill"... the treadmill said I ran 4.5 miles, my tracker said I ran 3.9 miles, and the dashboard says I have only moved 3.3 total miles for the day.... this is about the 4th time in 2 weeks that this has happened...

I have reset the tracker and restarted the phone...

What's next? Thanks for your help in advance...

Thank you for joining us in the Community @iancharltonMan Very Happy

So I can check what's happening between the app and the dashboard, can you please provide me with a screenshot of both your app and dashboard, showing the discrepancy of information? Also, can you please tell me if you have logged the activity manually?

By the way, I have moved your post to this thread to keep sorted our community and your post have more attention for relevant help.

Today, I ran a 5k in about 40 minutes in interval runs, followed by a 20 minute stairclimber set and a 10 minutes elliptical set... about 3 minutes in to the elliptical, my tracker said I had hit my 10k step goal for the day... the tracker recognized the 40 minute run on the dashboard, and I manually logged the stairclimber and elliptical... I have the app connected to sparkpeople and running apps by red rocks... when I tracked my food for the day on sparkpeople and then went to check fitbit results, these are the screenshots from both the dashboard and the logged exercises....Screenshot_20170104-181842.png

To answer your question as to manually logged or tracked, I usually choose the exercise I am going to do on the menu on the tracker and push start... I rarely go in and add them, unless for example the auto recognize feature I have set to 15 minutes, and the elliptical workout was only 10 today...

This is really frustrating... especially since I was feeling so great about hitting my step goal early...
