blaze heats up and then no heart rate or battery

I have less than 2 years old blaze that I love. unfortunately after a long walk this morning (14k+ steps) noticed no heartrate and the battery was low. unusual  but plugged in for charge and I got overheat warning.  I put in fridge and cooked off, and tried to recharge.  it seemed to take the charge,  but when I put it back on,  started overheating! is this a common problem? 

 

help please!

Please dont try to recharge it any more and contact support. Use help link at top of forum
