blaze leather straps

Does anybody know if it is possible to buy just the leather strap for the blaze. I have the nylon strap but I don't like it. When I look in the fitbit store it only seems to sell the frame and the strap.

Hi @madmer. The strap is attached to the frame which holds the Blaze securely in place. Both are needed. If you were able to purchase the Fitbit strap only, there would be no way to attach it to your device. That said, it is possible to purchase third party straps that attach differently and offer a "strap only" configuration.

I replaced my original band with a flexible (expandable) band which I had on hand. The problem was that the original band's pin would not detach from the strap. I purchased a 23mm pin for next to nothing and am now using my band with no problems. 

As an aside: The $175 cdn that FitBit is asking is far over priced. You can purchase a replacement band from Walmart or any store that sells bands, just make sure that the pin size is 23mm.
