I just bought the Blaze watch super excited to buy it. To find out it doesn't work with my phone HTC one A9 for notification. Why is this not compatible? I'm not to happy to find I spent all the money on it for it not to work fully. Why ?? Will it ever work with my phone?

I don't know how new a model this phone is,  but phones dont get on the list until they have been tested.  This does not mean they won't work, but they might have limited function have you tried?

Fitbit if they havent, will need to get access to, then test,  amd maybe rewrite some code, then test some more.

It's a brand new phone only released last year in the UK.

The only reviews i see are dated late Oct ealy September of 2015, Fitbit probably hasn't finished testing it yet.

What errors or red !, to tap on, are you seeing.

"Not compatible" just means they haven't tested the fitbit with your phone model. For the most part, Bluetooth is Bluetooth, and your phone likely will work.

Try it, before returning your blaze.

It's works but I can't get notifications and music to work the things that you need phone for. The Fitbit app works fine on my phone just can't link the things with the watch like music and notification features. Kind of why I bought that version of the Fitbit. There is not clear message anywhere that not all phones are compatablie with the fitbits.

The shop I bought it for says I won't be able to return it once opened and it's been opened now.

Have you installed the app on the phone, logged into your Ditbit account?

What happened?

@Brave1991, if you surf this board you will see that Everyone is having problems with music controls. Doesn't matter if your phone is on the approved list or not.

I would recommend once you get music controls working and notifications receiving, do a hard reset of the Blaze. Hold down the left button and bottom right button until the blaze resets. Then let's see how well things work.

I have the HTC One A9, no problems with notifications, receive all that I have requested, using the app bitTicker Notifications (google play .99 USD).  Works almost to well given that every notification that I do or do not want is being relayed to the Blaze.  You might want to give it a try.  Music is working outside of the application using the classic bluetooth connection, works just dandy.  Phone calls work too, but am using the native "people" versus the bitTicker Notifications.  All are working just fine with the HTC One A9 syncing with the Blaze.  Android version on the HTC is Marshmallow 6.0.1.
