blaze setup problems

Hi there,

I was hoping you could help. I tried speaking to someone via this chat link last night, but we lost connection halfway through, so I will try again. Please excuse the essay , but I would like to give you the full breakdown of what I have done.

I purchased the FitBit Blaze yesterday and proceeded to follow the step by step guide on how to set it up.

I switched on the Blaze and downloaded the Android App.

I then connect the app to the Blaze and the 4 digit code appears on the Blaze.

I then enter the 4 digit code into the App and the phone says connecting…

Nothing happens to the Blaze. All that appears on the Blaze is the Logo and fitbit.com/setup

On the app however, it says connected, now for the fun part and proceeds to show how to use the various features on the Blaze. Nothing changes on the Blaze though.

I have provided a link showing a setup video. I do everything up until the 4min10 sec mark, but where you can see what looks like a download bar on the Blaze that appear, this doesn’t happen on mine. As I said, nothing changes. The app syncs with the Blaze as you can see

I have tried restarting the tracker and re-downloading the app, even using a brand new email address and the same thing happens. My initial thought is that I have a faulty Fitbit Blaze and need to take it back to the store I got it from and get a replacement. Thoughts?

Thanks

Steve

I was about to suggest a restart but it seems that you have tried pretty much all the options available. In that case, Please get in touch with the Support Team and they will be very happy to help you out and get you back on track!
