brand new Blaze wont charge or setup

I've received my new Fitbit Blaze today and it keeps saying the battery is too low to sync, however will not charge. I entered the 4 digit code it asked for and then nothing. The battery symbol wont surface and i've tried it in my usb on the laptop and also mains charging port. Can anyone help?? thanks

A warm welcome to the Forums @Catherine88. I would like to know if you keep having inconveniences setting up your tracker and charging it? If you do, regarding the battery issue, I recommend following the instructions provided in this post. Then, once you charge your tracker you just need to do the following from your Fitbit app to paired your device:

 

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue.

 Received my Fitbit yesterday AMD am having the same issue. I'll be following.

About the battery symbol @Whitnayshea and @Catherine88, there will not be any until after the tracker is setup and the setup message has been removed. When connecting the Baze to a powered charger you should feel a slight vibration,  that is your notice that the battery is charging.

I have a new fitbit blaze out of the box and similar to the other posts batter is too low to update.  I have it paired but won't sync.  It appears to not be able to charge without getting past the fitbit.com/setup screen showing on the fitbit.  It won't update without being charged.  Won't charge without being updated.  This seems to be an endless loop and nowhere does it explain how to address.  Please advise

@Justin944 have you pressed the help link below? This is where both your online and downloadable user manual will be found. 

Basically go to that address through the device you want to user to sync the tracker. 

This page will direct you to the proper software, which you install and run b

Choose the login option and follow prompts to install the Blaze to your fitbitvaccount.

I ended up calling the help desk and the resolution was simple. I had the charger plugged into my Laptop. The amps were too low so plugged it into my iPhone house plug in charger and it started charging immediately so was able to complete setup. Thanks
