Did you mean:

calorie burn way too high

At noon today my calories burned shows almost 4,000. I've only been wearing my watch for about 2 hours and have not exercised yet. I did pair my fitbit with My fitness pal yesterday, but other than that, I haven't done anything different.

Please help!

Did you just get your Blaze today?

If so, I think it's best to ignore whatever data you see for a partial day. Keep an eye on it tomorrow and see if the numbers are more reasonable.

It's great to have you here @Risken! I would like you to make sure all your personal information is properly entered in your Dashboard. You can learn more about the calories burned that you're going to see in your account each morning by checking How does Fitbit estimate how many calories I've burned?

Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.

I checked my info and everything is fine. The last 2 days the calories burned seemed to have been back to normal, but this morning after I put my watch on,  I checked and it shows I've burned 3400 calories. I know that wayyy off because I just woke up!

I think I have this same problem with my Blaze. Yesterday my calorie burn totaled 5,011 cal, is that even possible??? I had a 40 min workout in the morning play basketball that only burned 650 cal so why it my total days calorie burn so high? My last 7 day average is 4,755 and doesn't seem realistic when i work a desk job 5 days a week for 8hrs. I'm 32 and weigh 291 and my BMR according to MFP is 2378. Anyone know why my calorie burn is recording so high???

Do you have your fitbit paired with myfitnesspal?

@Risken Yes I do. Why? Is that good or bad?

I've heard of this happening, but usually it's caused by bad info - ie: wrong height or weight on Fitbit's end.

Do either of you see any exercises recorded that you didn't enter?
