i wish we could actually change the clock face to a colour of our choice ie so it matches a wrist stap colour

Currently, there's no option for that and I was able to find a feature request for more clock faces wich you can see here. However, if you'd like to create a new feature request for changing the colors specifically, feel free to do so at the Feature Request board. The more votes your idea gets, the more chances it will be implemented.
