connecting blaze to GPS on a Blackberry passport

I've managed to get my Blaze syncing well with the BlackBerry Passport. The only thing left is getting it to connect to the phones GPS. Does anyone have any experience with this, or is it even possible?

@Paulvanb Welcome to the Community! Currently, Fitbit doesn't have any Blackberry device as supported yet. I believe that's the reason why you're not getting the GPS to work in your phone. You may want to vote for this idea, because those suggestions are viewed directly by our engineers and developers and the best of this is that people can vote for them.

Hi,
I too have a BlackBerry Passport and a Fitbit Blaze and am loving it.
I'm not using it for sport or anything like most. I had a Workplace injury back in 2014 and have put on a lot of weight as a result. I'm still battling chronic pain and am on a cocktail of very strong pain meds and antidepressants.
What I'm using my Fitbit for is to monitor my health, especially my heart rate, which it does very well.
The steps I find are way off. I'm exceeding 2000 after a walk to the other end of the house and back. Maybe it's counting my walking stick as well lol.

Anyway, I find the fitbit works with my Passport, except for some features which would be great if I could figure out how to make work, or if a proper BlackBerry app was created, I'd be happy.

Currently it remains connected most of the day, but it does lose connection and sometimes requires a restart, but I now think I can reconnect without restarting my phone.
I don't get notifications for calls, SMS etc.
I don't have control of my music.
And no GPS.
I have MyFitnessPal working well with it, but I'd love to see the foods consumed within Fitbit rather than just the calories.
Sounds like a lot not working, and steps and sleep aren't that accurate, but it is a great help, and I did get one day where it was almost spot on with the sleep. It would be nice if there was a sleep button that I could press telling it that I am going to sleep.
I realise if I had an active life that it would learn and be more accurate, but with a sedentary life like mine there's less definition between activities.

... Hey Fitbit Devs, can you give us a made for BlackBerry version, we would love that, and you would be the best.

Thankfully us BlackBerry 10 users can run Android apps, but not all work, yet some work as intended.

Keep up the excellent work!!!

@StevenDon It's great to see you around! Thank you so much for sharing the experience that you've had using Fitbit Blaze and Blackberry Passport.

You did a great thing by posting your ideas already in the Feature Request board. I'm not sure if you already vote for this suggestion for BlackBerry devices OS 10, I'm sure it can call the engineers attention if it has so many votes.

You're doing well battling that chronic pain. Keep up the good job you're fighter Robot Happy
