The fitbit App icon shows 100 in a red bubble.  This is similar to what I see as notifications in email and other apps.  What does this mean??

Hello @dynaguy and welcome to the Help forum.  That red bubble is called an app badge notification on your phone's home screen.  I suspect you are an iPhone user.  Many users have reported this, but no Android users.  Check for notifications and messages in your Fitbit app by tapping on the inbox in the upper right.  You can delete them.  A few users reported a badge, but didn't have any notifications.  You can turn this off, just like you can for any app by doing the following: go to your iPhone Settings, then tap on Notifications.  Scroll until you get to Fitbit and tap on that.  Toggle Badges to Off.

This seems to have started after an iOS update.  On my iPhone, badges got turned on for every app I set to receive notifications.  I'm pretty sure that it wasn't set like that before.
