I had a blaze that went haywire, whose screen and button won't respond, and somehow the battery won't last a day. I got a replacement shipped to me, in the meantime, even though I can't control the blaze anymore, it was still tracking my movement, thus I was able to download my steps, sleep session, etc.
Once I got the replacement tracker, I got onto the fitbit app on my tablet, and indicated I am replacing my existing blaze with another one, and it started a firmware upgrade. I then realized I have quite a bit of tracking data still on the old Blaze that I should download. So I got onto the fitbit app that was on my phone (which supposedly is still connected to my old tracker) and tried to do a sync. The next thing I know, the old tracker shut down and could never be awoken, even if I put it in the charger (can't press the buttons to power it on).
Is the tracker auto-bricked? Can I bring it alive to sync that last day of data?

This really depends on how much your new unit has as far as data goes. You might lose data ftom the new one.

@WendyB, I didn't have any data on the new tracker. It just connected with the fitbit app on my tablet and was still having its firmware updated. I went to sync the old tracker and it turned off and cannot be turned on.

Well you removed the old tracker by setting up the new one
You would have to remove the new one set the old back up. Sync it. Then remove it and set up new one again.
Depends on how much you want that data from the old one
