iPhone 6 not seeing any notifications

I just got my Blaze today and everything works great except the notifications. I have been reading posts for three hours and have tried everything from turning on and off notifications, to deleting and downloading the app, to creating a new account with a different email, and everything in between to no avail. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?? I have notifications all on with the app and in my notifications centre. I have all showing as banners in locked screen. Someone mentioned something about messages not being stored in the notifications centre. How would I verify where my messages are going?? Texts, emails, and phone are all not working. ANY help would be appreciated as I also bought the stainless steel links so paid almost $500 for something that doesn't work fully.

You didn't mention, so have you tried rebooting the iPhone?

I am using iPhone 6 (iOS 9.3) with Blaze without any problem.

Best Answer
Yes I rebooted the iPhone multiple times and updated the iOS to the latest as one post mentioned to do.

Hello, I have an iPhone 6 on 9.3 and I get all iMessage, sms and calendar all as expected. I'd try doing a hard reset on your Blaze and toggle your Bluetooth on your phone on/off.
Best Answer
I've toggled on and off my Bluetooth, disconnected and reconnected multiple times, resetted the blaze multiple times, toggled on and off notifications on the blaze and in my phone, attempted multiple different settings in notification centre, I've deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times, created another account with a different email address, turned on and off my phone, updated the iOS, fully charged the blaze, and I don't know what else??? I feel like I'm techy and can make my way around technical issues but nothing is working. And if there's a factory reset or hard reset I would try that but I've read there isn't one for the blaze. I've only done the left button and bottom right button reset, also multiple times.

@Betty223 Hey there!

I stuggled to remember to have Bluetooth on in order to receive notifications. Could that be it for you as well?

Also, I'd recommend having preview enabled, though it sounds like you may have them already.

I run all over SF. What's your story?

Unfortunately yes my Bluetooth is on. And I deleted all other Bluetooth devices. And yes, preview is enabled.

OK so I returned the blaze and got a completely new one. Positive, phone and texts now work, including iMessage for anyone who was wondering about that. Negative, emails aren't working yet. I do have two email accounts on my phone, @EmersonFitbit, would that matter?? One is work, and the other is personal.

Soudns good, glad you got that worked out!

Blaze doesn't receive email notifications at this time, @Betty223. Learn more here.

So am I to understand that the only solution to this problem is to return the tracker and exchange for a different one?  I've done all the possible iterations of solutions to no avail... I am still not getting notifications.  It worked yesterday when the tracker was new, now nothing.

Did anyone find a solution? My fitbit is doing the same- I am getting phone calls, but not text messages 😞

It's great to have you here @Abbiecf! Blaze will receive Calls, texts, calendar events within the hour, emails, and other push notifications from apps you choose. I would like you to make sure that you're following this set up procedure to get the notifications working.

Note: Please double check that you have a compatible phone

Hope this helps. Keep me posted.
