Thanks for the response. I got these details from scrolling thru responses on this thread. I have yet to find those maps either on the web from my phone or from the mobile app. So I am trying to find what the steps are.

Maybe your runs are not being recorded by GPS.
During the run, does the Blaze show that it is connected to the GPS?
How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?
It is also explained in your user manual.

I have just started using a Blaze, handed down to me.
Previously, I had an Alta, so I was tracking and viewing maps completely on the phone.
Now, with the Blaze, I see I can start tracking on the Blaze, and of course, I can still start tracking on the phone.
Today, I started the track on the Blaze. It said "connecting to phone". After my walk, all of the statistics are there. Total steps, heart rate, mileage.
The map only has my start and a place where we stopped for a while, with one bend in it.
"Use Phone GPS" is "on" in the Exercise Settings.
Should I start tracking in the app? On the Blaze? Does it matter? If I start in the app, can I see the running statistics on the Blaze?
Should my map have been okay?
I read something about disabling the "MobileTrack" device on the phone. Do I need to do that? It looks like the exercise tracking in the phone still works without it.

Your map tells me that there was not a consistent GPS lock. The blaze will vibrate when GPS is lost or acquired.
Personally I would say use the Blaze. Not knowing which phone can't give more tips.
Does notifications work?

Notifications work. Music Control works.
I had Android 11 set to only allow Location Services to the Fitbit when the app was running, which I think should have been fine in this instance, since I did have it open. I changed that to Always.
I might have actually looked at the app once or twice on my walk. The far point is where we rested for a few minutes. I'm not sure about the bend point.

The Fitbit app has part of it that always runs in the background. This is what allows notifications and the GPS to work.
On some androids, with the Fitbit app open in front, gps fails when the phones screen turns off.
