"All Caught Up!" message keeps repeating endlessly

As of last night (6/19/19), my two-year-old Blaze has effectively become unusable.
The screen, regardless of the page initially being displayed, is overwritten every 10 seconds or so by the "All Caught Up! - No notifications" message. I've tried restarting, I've tried resetting notification options, I've even tried disabling notifications completely, but the annoying message keeps popping up, making it impossible to check time, heart rate or steps.
I can clear the message manually by swiping down, but inevitably, it reappears within seconds. When it does, the Blaze vibrates briefly, despite being set for no vibrations. This also makes it difficult to sleep while wearing the Blaze, as the repeated vibrations keep intruding.
Is there a "fix" I'm unaware of which will clear this annoyance?

The funny thing is my blaze also just started going haywire!  It died 9 hours after getting a full charged.  Now I am getting this issue and cannot scroll properly on the face

Not a fix, but I'll add that yesterday mine stared doing the exact same thing. Screen turns on randomly and often, reminding me I'm all caught up. Turning it off only to have it turn back on by itself. Also difficulty navigating screens.???

After completing a regular charge, the screen of my blaze's screen was on and never going to sleep.  I eventually noticed that the all caught up message was coming up for no reason with vibration each time.  I also see the indicator on the right lower corner as if I was pressing the assotiated button.  Unfortunately, this is annoying and draining the battery.  I tried different restarts, validating if there was an update,... nothing seems to work.  I am really disappointed that the fitbit devices don't last longer (previous device died shortly after warranty expiry date). I really like the style and size of the blaze, so I would of hope to keep it longer at the price paid.
