"All caught up" constantly popping up

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

On my Blaze, the "All caught up - no notifications" message is constantly popping up.  Like every few seconds.  It interrupts other functions.  For example it kept pausing as I was tracking my workout this morning.  If I shut down the device, it just comes back on and continues with the message.  It's also draining the battery very quickly.

This is the second time this has happened in the last few weeks.  Seems to happen when battery is very low.  I tried charging it, but the message continues to pop up.  Only thing that worked last time was to let the battery die completely, then charge it.

Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance

I’m having the same problem with the notifications. I have turned off all notifications in the app. Restarted the watch. Turned Bluetooth off and on again. Nothing worked yet. Just started today. I will try the rice next and hope that works.

The rice will not work. They’ll make you get a new one discounted.

You can try to get Fitbit to replace it.

I am having this issue now, and it is rather annoying. I tried to do the restart on it: but still happening. I just fully charged it early today, so now I have to wait until it dies? UGH (this is in addition to lately it has been reading an extremely high heart rate at rest), and I know it is incorrect; because I work at a radiology facility and we are able to check heart rates.I can deal with that, but this notification and not being able to do anything is rather frustrating.

I let mine sit in rice for two days. Let the battery run down. It worked fine at full charge the after my run started to do it again. I put it on my shelf for a day or two and now it seems fine. This is my last Fitbit. If it starts acting up again I’m getting rid of it and going with either a Harmon or Apple Watch.

Good luck.

You guys keep saying the same fixes and THEY DON’T work. Very disappointed. The Fitbit is useless at this point. When I’m ready for another tracker it will not be a Fitbit if you can’t fix this issue.

I just purchased a new Blaze fro ebay vendor.  Problem with all caught up began after one week.  Is there any fix?

My Fitbit Blaze keeps repeatedly vibrating and popping up the "Notifications-Off/On" screen which drains the battery.

Please help

Sadly, there is no permanent fix.  As folks indicated, it may come back after the battery is drained and has sat in rice, but it will start over again and I believe it has to do with moisture.  As indicated by many, including me, the only solution is to ask for a discounted water resistant Fitbit -- that is, if you want to stay with Fitbit.  It is indeed disappointing. 😡

Hi.
Not sure there is much you can do. Give everything a good clean. Allow battery to completely discharge and then recharge and see if things improve. This might be why the item was sold.

I see this has been a problem for several Blaze owners. Ours keeps showing all caught up on notifications and running battery down. Has there been a fix/solution for this?

We use it for tracking steps as well as notifications.  Need a fix...replacement...

I had this problem when I first got my new blaze.  I let the battery go dead, had the program on my iPhone forget the watch, rebooted the watch, re-paired up with the iPhone and kept the notification option  shut off.  That solved issue and have not had problem return now for several months.  While I don’t have notifications of texts or incoming calls, that’s not a problem for me.  To be honest, I haven’t tried turning notifications back on.  BTW, this is my second Blaze, the first lasted over two years without problem and the just died one day,

As you might see from the forum, I had that issue too. After several resets and draining down the battery it has disappeared as mysteriously as it appeared. I turned the notifications function off on my watch and that didn't work immediately but may have contributed to the resolution.

Good luck

  • THIS IS THE ANSWER!

Someone said it in one of the replies.  But I couldn't find it to reply. I knew this had to be it. I took a bath last night and forgot to take my fitbit off. I know it got wet but not sure if I submerged it. Then after charging it I put the watch back on. And the "Notifications all caught up" message kept going off.

So I plan to do what they said...

Get a hair dryer or place in some rice to try to draw out  the moisture out. Fitbit instructions says it can tolerate some moisture,  but is not water proof.

I'm having the same problem with my Blaze. I'm also bilateral cochlear ear implanted and often get my over the ear processors wet with sweat or rain. I have a Zepher Dryer box that I put them in to remove all moisture. I have my Blaze in it right now! We'll see what the outcome is later on.

I've just had this problem and solved it like above....

I'm on holiday, it's hotter here than usual and I also made the mistake of keeping my fitbit on in the shower. I believe this added moisture and heat triggered the problem.

After trying the bog standard fixes, switching it off and on, disconnecting and reconnecting etc. I undid the pebble and using a needle cleaned round the buttons ensuring they all moved freely. I then stuck it in a bag of rice and put it in a cool place and left it for a day until the power ran down. (I tried impatiently before the power ran down and the problem persisted). I then fully charged the unit and it's been ok again.

Hope this helps others.
