Hello! I've been biking to and back from work these days so I decided to use the "Bike" exercise option on my Fitbit Blaze. The watch itself doesn't have a GPS but it connects to the GPS on my phone. I've been using the "Run" option for a long while now and it has been pretty accurate. However, I noticed that the "Bike" tracking has consistently been inaccurate. The distance from my home to work is 8 miles one way. I know this from Google Maps. However my Fitbit was tracking that I biked for 6 miles one way. I was mildly annoyed but I was still okay. But today it calculated that I biked for a little under 2 miles one way! That's off by 300%! Now I'm very annoyed! I know that it was connected to my phone the entire time because the route map that it generated is correct. So there’s no reason for it to be this inaccurate. Is there a fix for this?

Welcome to the Community Forums @thebostonite!
It sounds from what you say that your tracker cannot connect to your phone when you're starting the activity, therefore, your riding distance is being calculated based on your walking stride length which will not be accurate for this purpose.
What I can recommend is refreshing the connection between your tracker and your phone to make sure that when you go into the biking mode, it will connect to your phone and it will then report the GPS distance rather than the distance that is tracked from your Blaze.
Now, for this, remove the Bluetooth bond between your tracker and your phone. For this, go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone. On your connected devices, look for your tracker. Tap on it, then choose the option that says "Forget this device". Once you've done this, I would recommend making sure to sync your tracker to avoid losing any unsynced data and then, proceed to set up your tracker as a new device. For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem.
The next time you go out biking, make sure that the internet on your phone is turned on and that you choose the Outdoor Bike shortcut on your Blaze and wait for it to connect. Once this happens, go on your bike ride, when you're done, finish it on your tracker and then sync your tracker and see if there's any improvement.
Let me know if you need anything else.
