Hi y'all. I've been wasting so much time on this, and can't find an appropriate thread.
Please correct me if I'm wrong!
In short - I really dig my Charge #3, and the app certainly 'synchronises' perfectly (phew!).
However...despite my sleep being accurately measured by the Charge #3 tracker and uploading to the app, my Charge #3 tracker on the down scroll REFUSES to display my sleep despite it uploading to the app without fail...
You guessed it: 'Sleep Not Tracked' occurs every day. App displays my sleep, meaning my Charge #3 does track my sleep. It's just the fact it won't display on the scroll function (swiping up on the Charge #3 tracker itself) It is slowly killing me. It's a tiny issue in comparison to seemingly a lot of others' issues, however, it REALLY annoys me for some reason.
Can I somehow remove the display on my Charge #3 tracker, just for the sleep bit?
P.S. Yes, I've restarted, uninstalled, blah blah blah etc, and still my Charge #3 tracker won't display my sleep. And no, I'm not an insomniac. It is 100% an issue with the Charge #3 tracker display.
Thank you for your time!

Welcome here @ncoffee! As per the description of your post, it seems that your Charge 3 is not syncing. So, I'd recommend restarting your Charge 3 by following these steps and also taking a look at: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
Give this a shot and let me know the outcome!

I have a new Charge 3 tracker and it has recorded 4 nights of my sleep, but responds with only "simplified" Sleep Details. Is it my heart beat that is causing a problem, or the tracker?
Because it shows simplified sleep, it is obviously reading something while I'm asleep.
I've tried all recommendations to try to fix the sleep tracking function and get it to report more details.
How much sleep data is needed before it stops telling me "sleep not tracked" and provides more than simplified sleep details?

My Charge 3 is less than a month old. It worked pretty accurately until four nights ago when I stopped getting sleep patterns. None of the suggested “fixes” are applicable to my situation, so I am puzzled.
From reading other posts it appears there is a glitch, any idea when it will be fixed?

While I appreciate the acknowledgment of the tracking issue, can you give us any idea of when a solution might be coming?

I've now worn my Charge 3 for about 40 nights. It has analyzed my sleep and shown detailed sleep stages only 4 times in 40 nights. The other 36 nights are shown as "simplified sleep details."
Evidently, the Charge 3 is unable to consistently read changes in my heart rate as it relates to sleep patterns. My spouse also has a Charge 3 and he gets full sleep stages details every night.
Perhaps a difference in anatomy, or other differences between individuals, affects how the Charge 3 responds to heart rate and how it analyzes sleep details?
I purchased the device, in part, because I thought the sleep stages function was interesting.
But, it doesn't work for me, most of the time.
I don't know exactly what the "simplified sleep details" represents. The Charge 3 appears to report each time I move my arm while I sleep as being "restless" and therefore I'm not fully asleep? I could be asleep for 6 or 7 hours, but seemingly because I move my arm while I'm sleeping, the device tells me that I've gotten only 3 or 4 hours of sleep? Why even bother looking at sleep tracking? It makes no sense at all.
I keep my Charge 3 charged, and the battery is rarely below about 70%.

This is similar to what has happened to me and my sleep experience.

@MarreFitbit this issue has been going on for months and months (I let your support know 3 months ago) and you still cannot provide your users with a solution.
We are asking you to please provide us with a solution ASAP.
Can you do that?

I am having the same problem with sleep not tracking. It shows on my phone but not on the fitbit. When will this problem be fixed?

I see it is a problem with a lot of people having problems with their sleep not tracking. From what I see it is a problem that is supposed to be fixed. There is a post from January and it still is not fixed.

@MarreFitbit As mentioned in another thread, I have exactly the same issue (showing Sleep not tracked in Today but it shows in Android app) on my new Charge 3 for over a month. I have already reported it to fitbit support as well. Can we know if Fitbit is still looking at this issue? I'm surprised it's been out for months for other users as well. Thanks.

How can this be an "known issue" since January (earlier too, as I have searched this issue extensively) and FitBit has no solution, despite selling millions of these devices to people who rely on the features advertised?? Seeing my sleep patterns on my phone is great! BUT how is it that that data isn't syncing to the FitBit itself???

@MarreFitbit May I know if Fitbit is still supporting Charge 3 and if Charge 3 has reached its end of life already?

@AlejandraFitbitThanks. But it does sound like Fitbit has either no idea about the issue or it doesn't care at all. I wonder if this will be fixed eventually. Technically it is only a display issue, but a very visible one to Charge 3.
If this issue cannot be fixed, what else can fitbit fix?
Fitbit should really escalate this issue.
