‘5’ changed 250 step hours. App won’t accept my corrections! Reloading App doesn’t help.

Earlier this year the App made changes to the HOURs for 250 steps.  I tried to change the designated hours to my own selection group of 12, but App wouldn’t accept my input.  Since the App selection fell during my awake period, I let it run.

This morning I had problems with App recognizing my device’s output, I decided to reinstall the App.

The reinstalled App, though readily accepting data from my Charge 5 device, now shows 250 step HOURs that have no relation to my actual awake times,  1 am to 2 pm is a ridiculous schedule, since I am not up to begin stepping out until 5 am at the earliest!
Again, App will not accept any changes I desire to do to correct situation.

Hi, @jearlz welcome, can you confirm you have set your hourly activity goal? From the "Today" screen touch your icon in the top right corner>Fitbit settings>activity>hourly activity goal>set the start & end times.

Let us know by posting here again.

Cheers

STEP by STEP:
On ‘today’ screen in upper right, msg flag and solid red circle with ‘J’ inside.
Selected red circle
Then chose settings
Then activity
Then hourly activity goal
Then selected to change: start and end
Made changes, and selected green Set Goal
Then went back to previous screen and found that my changes had NOT been accepted - The ones that were there were the same Erroneous Choices Made by Whatever!

Basically, I am not allowed to change anything.

Hello @jearlz , @Redraven2009 , @MeenuRakesh

Sorry to see that you've been having issues with hourly goals.

Sadly, this is something that typically happens due to the biannual time change and usually fixes itself in a day.

Please let us know if you're still having the issue.
