After only 9 months I am going to return my Fitbit Charge 5.

The first issue I had was that my Fitbit Charge 5 died within hours whilst on a holiday. I commend Fitbit and the assistant who swiftly organised a replacement.

However, the latest firmware updates have wiped the ability for me to control music from my Fitbit via the notifications and I suspect it has something to do with Google buying out Fitbit and wanting to monopolise their music offering to be restricted to Google/Youtube music only. But even then, I have YT music and that doesn't even display in notifications to control.

Before anyone claims that it's never been able to control music - yes it has. I used to use it before the firmware update.

Just a super disappointing and regressive model from Fitbit.
