I dislike being notified with the chevrons and vibration when Active Zone sees a change.

Hi @emmacita. Welcome to the Community Forums.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback about your tracker. Before anything else, I wanted to let you know that your post was moved to the Charge 5 board so we can keep the forums organized. About your inquiry, let me share that you can turn off those notifications during an exercise. Because your post didn't mention, please give a try to the following steps:

  1. On your Charge 5, swipe left or right and open the Exercise app.
  2. Swipe up to find an exercise.

  3. Tap to choose an exercise, then swipe up through the exercise settings.

  4. Tap Heart Zone Notifications to turn the setting on or off.

  5. Repeat the same steps for any other exercise from which you want to turn off these notifications.

You can also turn off the weekly Active Zone Minutes notifications. To do this, swipe down from the clock screen to find the Settings app and open it. Then tap Heart Zone Notifications to turn the setting on or off.

This shows up even with the heart zone turned off.  I don't have any exercises to track.  It is annoying as it happens all the time.  I've  tried your suggestions, even restarting the device.  I suppose I'm stuck with this annoyance.  I hope you can see the photo attached as I was able to catch it n the camerafitbitchevron.jpg.

Thanks for your help.  Maybe there will be an update to totally disable this feature.

Hi there, @emmacita.

I'm sorry you're having this experience, and appreciate your efforts in trying the steps suggested above. Also, for the picture provided. While this is odd, I'd like to check one last think with you. As you may know, your Charge 5 can also notify you whenever you've reached your daily goal. With this in mind, I'm wondering if the Active Zone Minutes stat is selected as your main goal which will explain your tracker's behavior.

To verify this, I'd recommend the following steps:

  1. Open the Fitbit app on your phone.
  2. Tap your profile picture > Charge 5 image.
  3. Scroll down and tap on Main Goal.
  4. Select any other stat that you wish to track on a daily basis the day.
  5. Sync your tracker to apply the changes and monitor its behavior in the next days.

I'm having the same problem.....Heart Zone Notifications turned off in both places, but still getting the notification......software defect?

Also having set a goal in an exercise there seems to be no way to remove the goal, apart from ending the exercise and start again.

I’m having the same problem. Turned off but still getting notifications! It started when I updated my Charge 5. So annoying!!

Just to add that I am having the same problem, notifications appearing even when the heart zone notification are off for that exercise type. It's very annoying because I keep thinking there is an actual message but it's just my heart changing from fat burn to cardio x.x

Here's an update following my comments above -  for some reason a few days after I changed the hear zone settings they did actually turn off!

Not sure why...I'm not aware of having changed anything.....but they have gone!

I followed the steps to turn off the azm notifications shown above yet still seem to receive them. Thoughts?

Thank you! Those notifications were so distracting. It would be fine if I could manually swipe to make them go away or something.
