Accuracy of Heart Rate Monitor when Jump Roping

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

When I jump rope, it seems that the heart rate monitor often loses track of my heart rate (I check it from time to time and often the heart monitor is blank).

Any suggestions on how to better ensure that the heart rate monitor can better keep track of my heart rate when I am jump roping.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, @danjochnowitz , the heart rate can often lag behind during aerobic activity, but if you aren’t seeing a heartrate at all during your activity, and it doesn’t show on your activity log after syncing your Fitbit to your app, it may be that your Fitbit is too loose and the jumping action is causing it to lose contact.  You could try wearing it a little tighter and a little higher up on your wrist and see if that helps.
