Accurate count for calories burned

All I want is to be able to see my calories burned at a glance. Like on the dashboard. I don’t want to get into all this calculations with BMI, etc. etc. Is it possible for this to be set up that way? If not then, I really dislike the charge 5.  Thank you in advance for any help.

Hello @DACox and welcome to the Community.  I looked at your public profile and see that you joined Fitbit several years ago.  I read your post several times and I'm not sure what you are asking.  Can you rephrase your question with more details?  If you just upgraded to the Charge 5, we can help you navigate your device.  For example, swipe up in your clock face to see your Today stats (simple, like your phone dashboard).  Charge 5 Basics  What did you see on your previous Fitbit that you can't find on the Charge 5?

This has nothing the do with my old Fitbit.

As I said in the subject line, I want to be able to see my calories burned or used throughout the day just as I see my steps      Understand.   Is this possible?
I sure hope so. Because what good is a Fitbit if you can’t track your steps or exercise and calories I am burning.
Thank you.
Delores.

  • Swipe up on your clock face to see your Today stats.  Your calorie burn is fourth on the list.
  • The default clock face scrolls through steps, heart rate, total calories burned (progress bar shows progress to your goal), distance, and active zone minutes.  Try a different clock face, if this one doesn't suit you.

How can I fix the inaccurate count for my calories burned. I have not burned 800 calories in one hour. I want to return the Charge 5 if it can’t be fixed. Please help. I see others complaining about this as well.
