Active minutes vs zone minutes

Just upgraded from an Alta HR so on the app active minutes have changed to zone minutes.
I do martial arts as most of my exercise, I cant wear it during BJJ and was putting down the back of my dōgi during Karate but tired that with the charge 5 today and no reading.
Anyway am not getting zone minutes even though training 3 hours today, logging activity gave active minutes before the update.

Hello @DoomWizard

Zone Minutes are connected to your heart rate so you won't get any if you're not able to measure it while you're training.  You can log the activity after the event and maybe put in estimated calories, if that helps.

Are you banned from wearing devices while training then?  Have you thought about looking into buying an extender on Amazon and putting the Charge 5 much higher up your arm out of sight? Some people put them on their ankles if they're doing things where their arms don't move.  I've never tried it myself, but it might be worth looking into.

I just had a quick search on Amazon and found these:

Extender Bands

Good luck!
