I’m writing to echo what so many users have repeatedly requested over the years: a way to track repetitions for exercises like squats.
It’s honestly surprising and frustrating that such a fundamental feature continues to be overlooked. The community has made it clear — this is something people want. If you search the forums, you’ll see countless posts going back years asking for rep tracking for bodyweight exercises like squats, push-ups, and lunges. And yet… still nothing.
Squats are one of the most effective full-body exercises you can do. They build strength, improve mobility, burn calories, and support core health. So why wouldn’t Fitbit — a platform designed to support total body wellness — provide the ability to track one of the most essential exercises?
We’re not asking for miracles. A simple manual rep counter or even an option to log sets and reps post-workout would be a game-changer. It would allow users to monitor progress, stay consistent, and stay motivated — which is exactly what Fitbit aims to help with.
Please, don’t ignore your loyal community. We love your devices and want them to be as useful as possible. But continued silence on this basic, high-demand request is disheartening. Show us you're listening.
