Add dance and Zumba to Charge 5

I'm sure there are a lot of Fitbit owners that dance or do Zumba on a regular basis.  I am a new Fitbit Charge 5 owner and I teach line dancing and take  Zumba classes a few time times a week and I don't see an option to document it.  Any suggestions would help.

Hello @loquie50

Although there isn't a specific Exercise Shortcut for Zumba or Line Dancing, there are 2 main ways you can log them.

The first is to let your Charge 5 automatically recognize the exercise and then go into the App on your phone, tap the Exercise, then select Categorize Exercise at the top and enter the exercise you want in the search bar.  Zumba is listed but Line Dancing isn't (dancing is though).  You can tap to select and it will save that name for your activity.  When it Auto Recognizes exercise, I find the times are slightly adrift, so you can edit them by tapping the 3 dots at the top right, choosing Edit Exercise Details, and you can adjust the times.

The other way is to add an Exercise Shortcut to your Charge 5.  From the Today screen, tap your profile picture, then Charge 5, then Exercise Shortcuts.  If there's one you don't use, slide to the left to delete it, then you can choose +Exercise Shortcut to add a new one, 'Workout' is probably the best choice here. Sync your Charge 5 and check it's added to your Exercise Shortcuts.  Then when you next have a dance session, you can press Start and Stop on your tracker to give exact times and then follow the instructions I gave above to rename the Exercise in the App.

I hope that makes sense and helps a bit.
