Afib not being picked up by Charge 5

Hi there. I’m being evaluated for Afib. I can  tell when I’m in it but I’m 2 weeks the app has sent only one alert. It usually catches it on EKG. Anyone else have experience with it?

Welcome to the Community forums, @9grand.

Thank you for sharing that you're having this inconvenience with the Charge 5

Before considering other options, let me know if your Fitbit app is updated and if your Charge 5 syncing properly if you've experienced any problem to sync your data.

In the meantime, please give a try to the following steps:

  1. Uninstall the ECG app from your Charge 5.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and restart your tracker.
  3. Open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
  4. Install the ECG app one more time and make sure the permissions are enabled.
  5. Tap Discover > Assessments & Reports > Heart Rhythm Assessment to double check if still appears completed
  6. Try taking a reading one more time and let me know how it goes.
  7. If you're still not receiving the alerts, please try setting up your Charge 5 as a new device in your account.

Hope this helps, I'll be around.
