@sparkles4   The A-fib notification is currently rolling out only in the US.  It needed FDA clearance in order to be released.  If it has to follow the same rules that the ECG app did, then it will need Canadian regulatory approval before it can be released.  This is an observation from my experience with these types of things.

I spoke on a chat with Fitbit and the agent said that Canada has that feature.

@sparkles4   Please read the release note in 9to5google .  It says that the immediate rollout is US only.

Interestingly, I received the feature for a short while in Europe, I even tried it once, but the next day it disappeared with another update....

Yes, I read that article.  I was told by Fitbit that it is in Canada.  I will look into it.

Thanks for your response 😊.

@sparkles4   I believe the Support tech is confusing the Irregular Heart Rhythm Assessment with the ECG app.

You are probably correct.  In the US what warning does it show and where do you see it.  I have a charge 5.

Any word as to when it might become approved in Canada.

I checked back with an agent at Fitbit.  Yes, it's not available in Canada as if yet.  Again thank you.
